- Mitchell Marlins boys’ hockey at Oahe, 1 p.m. in Pierre
- Mitchell Marlins girls’ hockey vs. Rushmore in the South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association Girls’ Varsity State Tournament semifinals at 5 p.m. in Aberdeen.
- Area high school boys’ basketball District 7B championship: Canistota vs. Bridgewater-Emery at 7 p.m. in Marion; District 9B championship: Wolsey-Wessington vs. James Valley Christian at 7 p.m. in Huron; District 10A championship Wagner vs. Platte at 7 p.m. in Platte; District 12A championship: Miller vs. Chamberlain at 7 p.m. in Crow Creek; District 13A championship: Winner vs. Todd County at 7 p.m. in St. Francis.
At the Palace
Today, at the Corn Palace, there will be three postseason high school basketball games.
Schedule/Records: Boys’ District 11B championship: 4:30 p.m. — Hanson (16-5) vs. Ethan (13-7). Boys’ District 10B championship: 6 p.m. — Mount Vernon (17-4) vs. Kimball/White Lake (15-4). Girls’ Region 6B championship: 7:30 p.m. — Hanson (19-3) vs. Dakota Christian (9-13).
Notes: The winners from the two boys’ basketball games will move on to region championships while the girls’ Region 6B championship winner will earn a trip to the state tournament.
Next: On Tuesday the Corn Palace will host the high school boys’ basketball Region 6B championship game.
