Area high school boys’ basketball District 4B semifinals: Howard vs. Oldham-Ramona/Rutland at 7 p.m. in Ramona; District 7B semifinals: Canistota vs. Freeman at 5:30 p.m. in Tea, Bridgewater-Emery vs. Parker at 7 p.m. in Tea; District 9A championship: McCook Central/Montrose vs. Tri-Valley at 7 p.m. in Harrisburg; District 10A semifinals: Platte-Geddes vs. Bon Homme at 7 p.m. in Platte, Wagner vs. Parkston at 7 p.m. in Wagner.

Today, at the Corn Palace, there will be three high school district basketball games played.

Schedule/Records: Boys’ District 3AA championship: 5:45 p.m. — Mitchell (18-3) vs. Huron (13-8); Boys’ District 12B championship: 7:15 p.m. — Tripp-Delmont/Armour (15-6) vs. South Central (10-10); Girls’ Region 5B championship: 8:30 p.m. — Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (20-2) vs. Corsica/Stickney (13-8).

Notes: The winners in the boys’ District 3AA and girls’ Region 5B championships will earn trips to their state tournaments. Mitchell has beaten Huron twice this season by scores of 55-44 and 56-42.

Next: On Saturday, the Corn Palace will host the boys’ District 11B and District 10B championships as well as the girls’ Region 6B championship.
