District 9B semifinals: Wolsey-Wessington vs. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket at 6 p.m. in Huron, James Valley Christian vs. Wessington Springs at 7:30 p.m. in Huron; District 13B semifinals: Lyman vs. Jones County at 8 p.m. in White River; District 12A semifinals: Chamberlain vs. Crow Creek at 7 p.m. in Chamberlain; District 13A semifinals: Winner vs. St. Francis Indian at 7 p.m. in Winner, Todd County vs. Gregory at 7 p.m. in Mission.

At the Palace

Today, at the Corn Palace, there will be three high school district basketball games played.

Schedule/Records: Girls’ District 3AA championship: 5:45 p.m. — Mitchell (20-1) vs. Aberdeen Central (14-6); Boys’ District 10B semifinals: 7:15 p.m. — Mount Vernon (16-4) vs. Mitchell Christian (5-16); 8:30 p.m. Kimball/White Lake (14-4) vs. Corsicay/Stickney (11-8).

Notes: Mitchell swept Aberdeen Central in the regular season including a 67-40 win at the Corn Palace in the final game of the season. Mitchell won its semifinal game of the District 3AA tournament 70-38 over Huron on Monday.

Next: On Friday the Corn Palace will host the high school boys’ basketball District 3AA championship game at 5:45 p.m. as Mitchell takes on Huron. At 7:15 p.m. the boys’ District 12B championship with Tripp-Delmont/Armour vs. South Central game will be played and at 8:30 p.m. the girls’ Region 5B championship will take place as Sanborn Central/Woonsocket takes on Corsica/Stickney.
