Adam Fink scored a game-high 29 points to lift Tripp-Delmont/Armour past Colome 64-35 Monday night in a District 12B boys’ high school basketball game at the Corn Palace.
Trevor Payer had 15 points and eight rebounds for TDA, which was 29-of-53 from the field and 14-of-22 from the free-throw line.
Reece Weber had 11 points and six rebounds. Fink added six assists and five steals.
Colome, which was held to two first-quarter points, was led in scoring by Terrance Kinzer, who had nine points and five rebounds. Cohl Ratermann and Chris Hofeldt each had eight points. Jordan Nelson had four assists and Colome was 15-of-52 from the field.
Colome finished its season 8-12, while TDA (15-6) plays South Central in the district championship at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Corn Palace.

South Central 55, Marty Indian 33
South Central defeated Marty Indian 55-33 in a boys’ District 12B semifinal game on Monday at the Corn Palace.
South Central shot 18-of-55 from the field and hit 16-of-20 free-throw attempts on the night. Tyler Frank led the team with 10 points in the win.
South Central finished with 34 team rebounds, 15 assists and turned the ball over 16 times.
Marty Indian was 4-of-6 from the free-throw line. Marty Indian’s shots from the field were not reported. Colt Salcedo finished with 10 points for Marty Indian which came down with 19 team rebounds, 10 assists and had 21 turnovers.
Marty Indian finishes its season at 11-11 while South Central (10-10) will compete in the District 12B championship game at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the Corn Palace against Tripp-Delmont/Armour.

Howard 49, Dell Rapids St. Mary 42
HOWARD — Howard defeated Dell Rapids St. Mary in the first round of the District 4B boys’ basketball tournament Monday.
Cole Potter and Cal Weise had 12 points for Howard, which was 13-of-45 from the field. Andrew Schwader had nine points and Steve Larsen had 14 rebounds.
Howard was 17-of-27 from the free-throw line and had 16 turnovers.
Dell Rapids St. Mary was led by Cody Gannon and Jason Michel, who both had 16 points.
DRSM was 16-of-42 from the field, 5-of-9 from the free-throw line and had 11 turnovers.
Howard (4-16) plays Oldham-Ramona-Rutland at 7 p.m. today in Ramona.

Girls’ basketball
West Central 52, Tri-Valley 41
SALEM — West Central defeated Tri-Valley 52-41 on Monday night in the high school girls’ basketball District 9A championship.
West Central shot 25-of-55 from the field and 8-of-14 from the free-throw line. Madison Kuehl had 21 points to lead the team. Allie McDonald added 12 points and five steals. The team finished with 19 rebounds and had 12 turnovers.
Tri-Valley was 17-of-42 from the field and 10-of-15 from the line. Allison Cross led the team with 13 points and eight rebounds. Sammy Kasowski finished the night with 12 points. The team had 24 rebounds on the night and turned the ball over 23 times.
Tri-Valley finishes its season at 17-4 while West Central improves to 18-3 and will take on Parkston for the Region 5A championship on Thursday in Salem.
