WAGNER - The Parkston girls’ basketball team stunned Class A’s No. 1-ranked Wagner 57-54 Monday night in the District 10A championship game.
Parkston’s Logan Wagner hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Trojans 57-54. She finished with 17 points. Marie Malloy had a team-high 28 points and 11 rebounds.
Devon Brecke had 31 points for the Red Raiders, while Jessa Doom had 10. LaShawn Medicine Horn had 11 rebounds. It was Wagner's first loss of the year.
Parkston plays West Central at 7 p.m. Thursday in Salem for a berth in the state tournament.
