Services set for Rapid City Marine killed in California car crash
RAPID CITY (AP) — Funeral services and visitation for a Marine from Rapid City killed in a car crash near Camp Pendleton in California have been scheduled.
RAPID CITY (AP) — Funeral services and visitation for a Marine from Rapid City killed in a car crash near Camp Pendleton in California have been scheduled.
The media reports that the funeral for Marine Cpl. Jason Chleborad will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church. A full military burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church. Family spokesman Bryan Schnell said Chleborad's body is expected to arrive under Marine escort late Friday or early Saturday.
Twenty-two-year-old Chleborad was one of three Marines killed in a Feb. 14 crash in Dana Point, Calif. A fourth Marine was hospitalized.
