DEADWOOD (AP) — A Sturgis man has hit it big on a progressive slot machine bet in Deadwood.

DEADWOOD (AP) — A Sturgis man has hit it big on a progressive slot machine bet in Deadwood.

The media reports that Jeremiah Isbell won the nearly $660,000 jackpot Friday night on the Wheel of Fortune Megajackpot slot machine at the Celebrity Hotel.

Isbell had just put $10 into the machine, bet the maximum 75 cents and won on his first try.

Celebrity Hotel general manager Ken Gienger says it's one of the biggest jackpots ever won in the Black Hills gambling town.
