LETTER: State workers bonus unfair to SD teachers

I find it ironic that the state’s teachers must “earn” their bonus, which only 20 percent of them would receive, while all the state workers get their bonus whether they are doing their job or not.

To the Editor:

I am not saying state workers do not deserve a bonus, as they haven’t had a raise in three years. However, I find it ironic that the state’s teachers must “earn” their bonus, which only 20 percent of them would receive, while all the state workers get their bonus whether they are doing their job or not.
