Charley Pride to play at State Fair

HURON — Charley Pride was announced Wednesday as one of the grandstand acts for this year’s South Dakota State Fair. Pride’s country-music hits include “Kiss an Angel Good Morning,” “Every Heart Should Have One” and “All I Have to Offer You (Is Me).”
Opening for Pride are country comedians Williams and Ree. The concert will be Friday, Aug. 31.
Kicking off the State Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 29, will be the Red Wilk Construction Championship Bull Riding Inc. (CBR) Bull Bash, which will continue Thursday, Aug.30.
