The media reports that law enforcement officers were called to Bridal Veil Falls on Monday afternoon after receiving reports of a nude climber.
Officers with the National Forest Service responded and encountered a man climbing in nothing but boots.
Authorities say another man stood nearby laughing and taking pictures.
Bonnie Jones with the National Forest Service says the two men explained that they "wanted to have a light-hearted moment."
Jones says the men thought it would make people laugh when they drove by.
The two men received a verbal warning.
