Aberdeen man gets jail for billing fraud
Darrin Olson was accused of falsifying trucking service billing statements over a three-year period.
ABERDEEN (AP) — An Aberdeen man accused of stealing from his employer has been sentenced to 60 days in jail and two years of probation and fined $800.
The media reports that 44-year-old Darrin Olson also has been ordered to pay $1,996 in restitution. He already has repaid $23,500 to RDO Equipment.
Olson was accused of falsifying trucking service billing statements over a three-year period. He pleaded guilty to grand theft by deception.
