Area high school basketball roundup: Winner boys score 96 points in win over Cheyenne Eagle-Butte

WINNER — Winner de-feated Cheyenne Eagle- Butte 96-72 on Saturday in boys’ high school basketball action.

Winner was led by Kyle Mathis, who had 22 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. Ben Connot had 18 points, Donovan Brother Of All had 15 points and Nathan Naasz scored 13 points. Austin Schroeder had a double-double for the game scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds.

Winner shot 40-of-67 from the field (59 percent) and went 11-of-16 from the free-throw line for (69 percent). Winner had 46 total rebounds and 19 total turnovers.
