A $500 reward is being offered for information regarding the theft of three rifles from a vehicle in Mitchell that occurred sometime between Dec. 30 and Jan. 3.
The rifles — a black Olympic AR-15 .223-caliber rifle, a Ruger .30-06 boltaction rifle and a Ruger 10-22 .22-caliber rifle — were stolen from a white pickup truck parked on North Minnesota Street in Mitchell between 4 p.m. on Dec. 30 and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 3.
The stolen property is valued at $2,100.
The owner has offered a $250 reward in addition to the $250 reward offered by Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers for any information that leads to the arrest of anyone involved with the theft.
