Mitchell gymnastics team takes third in Madison

MADISON — The Mitchell gymnastics team placed third at the Madison triangular Monday night.

Rebecca Sadler placed second in vault with a score of 9.1 and placed second in the uneven bars with a score of 9.1. Sadler placed third in beam with a score of 8.75.

Bailey Eidahl placed second in beam with a score of 8.75. Quinci Herll tied for fourth in the beam with an 8.6.

Madison won the event with a 143.3, Brookings was second with a 138.05 and Mitchell finished with a 136.45.

Mitchell is back in action on Saturday when it competes in the Eastern South Dakota Conference meet in Brookings.
