ABERDEEN (AP) — Electricity is being restored to about 6,000 NorthWestern Energy customers in Aberdeen, Warner, Mellette, Stratford and the surrounding areas.

They lost power Thursday morning. NorthWestern Energy spokesman Tom Glanzer tells the media that there was a problem with an electrical substation on the south side of Aberdeen.

The outage included Northern State University, though a spokeswoman said at midday that part of the campus had electricity again.
