A Lower Brule man pleaded not guilty to three child pornography charges on Jan. 19.

Leroy Good Face, 26, was indicted by a federal grand jury on Jan. 10 on accusations of receipt and distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges — for which he could receive 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine — at a court appearance Jan. 19 before U.S. Magistrate Judge John E. Simko.

Good Face was released on bond, but a trial date has yet to be scheduled.
