MITCHELL (AP) — A Mitchell man has pleaded not guilty in federal court to a bank fraud charge.

Forty-eight-year-old William Weier is accused of trying to defraud First National Bank in Mitchell while doing business as Auto Express Inc. He's accused of using loan money from the bank to buy vehicles to sell through his business and not repaying the bank.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Weier faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted. A trial date was not immediately scheduled.
