A crew was busy Sunday in Mitchell working to right a grain car that appeared to have derailed.
The car had tipped onto the south embankment of the track immediately west of the Burr Street railroad overpass.
Heavy equipment was in place Sunday afternoon and workers were repairing damaged rails.
Workers at the scene directed all inquiries to public relations personnel for the BNSF Railway, who were not immediately available.
While it could not be immediately confirmed, there did not appear to be any injuries in the incident.
