SD man arrested on rape charges
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Police have arrested a Sioux Falls man they say raped a 15-year-old girl he met through social media.
SIOUX FALLS (AP) — Police have arrested a Sioux Falls man they say raped a 15-year-old girl he met through social media.
The 32-year-old man was arrested on second-degree rape charges after the girl told her school counselor about the alleged assault.
The counselor reported it to police.
Police say the man set up a fake social network profile as a 15-year-old girl and befriended the girl. He then reportedly posed as the girl’s cousin and picked her up for a party, took her to his home, gave her alcohol and raped her.
