Following is the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in various communities around the state as of late this week, according to a weekly survey conducted by the Mitchell and Yankton newspapers, along with information from AAA and various websites.

Mitchell: $3.383

Rapid City: $3.234

Sioux Falls: $3.201

Yankton: $3.159

South Dakota average: $3.284

National average: $3.25.
