Board revokes Yankton chiropractor's license

PIERRE (AP) — The South Dakota Board of Chiropractic Examiners has revoked the license of a Yankton chiropractor charged with making false Medicaid claims.

PIERRE (AP) — The South Dakota Board of Chiropractic Examiners has revoked the license of a Yankton chiropractor charged with making false Medicaid claims.

The board says in a news release that it revoked the license of Larry L. Jones, effective immediately. Jones will not be allowed to reapply for a license for five years.

Jones acknowledged he submitted false Medicaid claims to the state between January 2005 and March 2011. He also admitted to making similar false claims to Medicare.

Jones has been charged with a felony for making the false claims.
