Germans from Russia group plans event for Sunday

KAYLOR — SoDak Stamm Chapter of the Germans from Russia Heritage Society will host an Advent Christmas Hymn Sing at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the society’s meeting hall and museum, Kaylor.

KAYLOR — SoDak Stamm Chapter of the Germans from Russia Heritage Society will host an Advent Christmas Hymn Sing at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the society’s meeting hall and museum, Kaylor.

The afternoon is free and open to all. It will feature singing of many Christmas carols in English, as well as a few old familiar carols sung in German. The singing will be accompanied by piano and an old-fashioned pump organ.
