Copper, Rasmussen wed in July ceremony

Catherine Copper and Luke Rasmussen were married on Saturday, July 16, 2011, overlooking the Columbia River at Rowena, Ore., with the Rev. Doug Iverson officiating.

Parents of the couple are Anne and Gary Copper, The Dalles, Ore.; and Paul and Laura Rasmussen, Mitchell.

Maid of honor was Caroline Copper. Bridesmaids were Christina Nichol, Stephanie Markman, Sarah Sloan, Sarah Wilson and Shelby Warner.

Best man was Adam Rasmussen. Groomsmen were Philip Pifer, Russell Fergen, Caleb Sloan, Clay Copper and David Eldridge.

A reception was held following the ceremony.

Catherine is a 2007 graduate of Dalles-Wahtonka High School, and a 2011 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University. She is pursuing her master’s degree at University of South Dakota, Vermillion.

Luke is a 2007 graduate of Mitchell Christian High School and a 2011 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University. He is currently attending Sanford School of Medicine, Vermillion.
