Officials ID human remains found in SD

RAPID CITY (AP) — Authorities say human remains found off Iron Mountain Road in the Black Hills in March have been identified as a 61-year-old Keystone-area man.

The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says reports from a crime lab in Texas show the remains are consistent with those of Michael Berry.

Officials identified the remains using DNA from a relative of Berry’s.
