Tuba Christmas set Sunday in Mitchell

The fifth annual Tuba Christmas will be in Mitchell on Sunday, Dec. 4.

Registration and rehearsal will be at 12:30 p.m. at 515 E. Third Ave., Mitchell, with the group playing 15- to 20-minute concerts at these locations around Mitchell: 1:30 p.m., Pepsi-Cola Theatre; 2 p.m., Coborn’s; 2:30 p.m., Countryside Assisted Living Center; 3 p.m., Firesteel Healthcare Center; 3:30 p.m., Wesley Acres Assisted Living Center; 4 p.m., County Fair Food Store; 4:30 p.m., Avera Brady Assisted Living Center.

All area tuba, euphonium and baritone players are welcome to join the group for the celebration of the 38th annual Worldwide Merry Tuba Christmas, under the direction of Julie Van Gorp, Mitchell; and Kevin Klendl, Parkston.
