Lennox woman killed in two-vehicle crash
LENNOX (AP) — A 31-year-old South Dakota woman has died after her vehicle was struck by a semi-truck at an intersection north of Lennox in southeastern South Dakota.
LENNOX (AP) — A 31-year-old South Dakota woman has died after her vehicle was struck by a semi-truck at an intersection north of Lennox in southeastern South Dakota.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says Amanda Sue Diltz, of Lennox, was driving westbound Friday afternoon when she failed to stop at the intersection of Highway 17 and 276th Street and her car was hit by a semi-truck pulling an empty grain trailer. Diltz was pronounced dead at the scene. She wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
The 71-year-old driver of the semi-truck, who is from Worthing, was uninjured. He was wearing a seat belt.
