Bitterman, Hawkinson wed in July ceremony

Stephanie Bitterman and Alan Hawkinson were married on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Zion Lutheran Church, Aberdeen, with the Rev. Tanya Rist officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dale and Terri Bitterman, Parkston; and Dennis and JoLynn Hawkinson, Hoven.

Maid of honor was Heather Schiller. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Preheim, Lisa Kauk, Angela Lodmel, Whitney Hawkinson, Jessica Podzimek and Amanda Bitterman.

Best man was Jamie Bachman. Groomsmen were Aaron Hawkinson, Austin Hawkinson, Jon Rath, Derrick Bachman, Jesse Huber and Rick Bitterman.

Ushers were Nathan Arbach, Eric Bengs, Andy Alderman and Robert Teachout.

A reception was held at Ramada of Aberdeen.

Stephanie is employed at the Registrar’s Office at Northern State University, Aberdeen.

Alan is employed at Home Federal Bank, Aberdeen.

The couple will live in Aberdeen.
