Authorities locate inmate who escaped in SD

SIOUX FALLS (AP) — The South Dakota Department of Corrections says it has located an inmate who escaped from a minimum security unit of the State Penitentiary.

Corrections officials say they located 31-year-old Shawn Hawley a few hours after he escaped from the Jameson Annex at the State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls Wednesday morning

Hawley is serving 10 years in the prison for a third-degree burglary charge.
