Mitchell Regional Habitat for Humanity raised almost $7,500 with its “Living Quarters” fundraiser this fall.

That total was assisted by Modern Woodman of America and its matching fund program.

Living Quarters was held on Sept. 24, with volunteers going door to door asking for quarters and donations for the local Habitat for Humanity chapter. Modern Woodman assisted by having a team to participate in the Living Quarters fundraiser and issuing a $2,500 grant for the event.

The matching fund program offers Modern Woodman members nationwide the chance to show their support for a community cause, organization or individual in need by holding fundraisers.

Mitchell Regional Habitat for Humanity is currently raising funds for its fourth home build in Mitchell. Modern Woodman sells life insurance, annuity, and investment products to improve the life of its stakeholders, members, their families, and their communities.

Annually, Modern Woodman and its members provide more than $23 million and nearly 1 million volunteer hours for community projects nationwide.
