WASHINGTON, D.C. — As Congress continues to work on reducing the nation’s debt and deficit, U.S. Sen. Tim Johnson, D-S.D., called on South Dakotans to share their ideas on a new section of his website.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — As Congress continues to work on reducing the nation’s debt and deficit, U.S. Sen. Tim Johnson, D-S.D., called on South Dakotans to share their ideas on a new section of his website.
State residedents are encouraged to share which programs they find beneficial and feel should be preserved, as well as which funding they feel should be cut from the budget.
“I have received input from South Dakotans over the years on our budget deficit, but wanted to create this form to allow folks to more easily send me their thoughts on the federal budget,” Johnson said.
