RAPID CITY (AP) — A Rapid City woman has claimed a $50,000 prize from the Oct. 29 Powerball drawing.
Lisa DeVries matched four of the five white ball numbers and Powerball.
Normally, the match would be worth $10,000. But because she purchased the Power Play option and the Power Play number was five, her prize grew to $50,000.
DeVries said she has no definite plans for what to do with the prize money.
