A South Carolina man pleaded guilty Tuesday at the Davison County Public Safety Center to not re-registering as a sex offender in Mitchell.
Richard Dail, 30, recently made a temporary move to Mitchell and claimed he didn’t know he had to register as a sex offender within three business days of his move, according to court records.
In exchange for his guilty plea, the Davison County state’s attorney agreed to recommend a suspended execution of sentence.
Judge Sean O’Brien ordered a pre-sentence investigation and scheduled another hearing at the end of November.
