The Daily Republic is newly featured on a website that highlights one outstanding community newspaper in each of the 50 states.

The website project — named “Who Needs Newspapers?” — is a national effort designed to create a database to tell the story of leading community newspapers throughout the United States. The website address is www.whoneedsnewspapers.org.
