Davison County Planning and Zoning Commission to consider Prosper Township salvage yard

The Davison County Planning and Zoning Commission will consider an application for a salvage yard when it holds its regular monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Commissioners’ Room at the courthouse.

The agenda includes the following items:

• An appeal by Thomas Crane and Randy Rasmussen for a conditional use permit for a salvage yard.

The Prosper Township property currently has a number of unlicensed and inoperable vehicles that makes it non-compliant with county ordinances. The owners say the cars are used as parts for vehicles for demolition derbies.

• An appeal by Jared Storm for a 35-foot setback variance for a compost building on his property in Tobin Township.
