The Mitchell Planning and Zoning Commission is once again scheduled to review a proposal from Chris and Julie Grillo to rezone some property in the city.

The Grillos want to rezone real property described as the west 45 feet of the east 90 feet of lots seven and eight, bock 14, Railroad Addition to the city from Public Lands District (PL) to Highway Oriented Business (HB) and amending the official zoning map. They plan to build a 30-foot by 40-foot garage for storage. The proposal was before the planners two weeks ago but no one was at the meeting to discuss it with the planners, so it was tabled. It was also shelved by the Mitchell City Council last week. Some members of the Planning Commission question if there is enough space on the proposed site for the building. In other business:

• Prairie Town Grocery, 601 S. Sanborn Blvd., is submitting a plan for a covered porch.

• Navigant Consulting Inc., 1801 N. Main St., is submitting a plan for a remodeling.

• A resident at 1111 S. Miller Ave. is considering opening a massage school as a home business. That item is set for discussion only. The planners meet at noon at City Hall Council Chambers. The meeting is open to the public.
