Fate of Madison school project goes to voters

MADISON (AP) — Madison school district residents will vote Nov. 8 on a $6.3 million bond issue to help fund a high school renovation project.

MADISON (AP) — Madison school district residents will vote Nov. 8 on a $6.3 million bond issue to help fund a high school renovation project.

According to media reports, the School Board this week approved a $14.5 million project. Board President Tom Farrell says the nearly 50-year-old building is structurally sound but needs to be modernized.

The bond measure needs 60 percent approval to pass.
