DWU accepting parade applications

Dakota Wesleyan University is now accepting registrations for the Blue and White Days parade, which will start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, on Main Street in Mitchell.

Dakota Wesleyan University is now accepting registrations for the Blue and White Days parade, which will start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, on Main Street in Mitchell.

The event will be celebrated Mardi Gras-style with the theme “Let the Good Times Roll.”

Businesses, clubs and high school bands are welcome to register their float or entry by contacting Nate Hofer at 995-2943 or nahofer@dwu.edu or register online at www.dwu.edu/alumni/homecoming. Homecoming T-shirts will also go on sale beginning Sept. 26 in the Rollins Campus Center lobby. Cost is $10.
