Carry concealed permit event set for Saturday in Mitchell
A carry concealed permit presentation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Davison County 4-H Fairgrounds, Mitchell.
A carry concealed permit presentation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Davison County 4-H Fairgrounds, Mitchell.
Keynote speaker is Robert O’Keefe, deputy state’s attorney for Davison County. Topics will include laws, police officers’ duties in a shooting incident, firearm safety, handling and storage and psychological effects of being involved in a shooting incident.
Other presenters include Gary Kingsbury, certified firearms trainer and instructor; and Roswitha Konz, clincial director and psychologist at Dakota Counseling Institute.
A freewill offering will be accepted.
