CROPWalk scheduled for Saturday at DWU

The annual CROPWalk will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, beginning at Farwell Church on the grounds of Dakota Discovery Museum, Mitchell.

The annual CROPWalk will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, beginning at Farwell Church on the grounds of Dakota Discovery Museum, Mitchell.

A table in Johnson Lounge at Dakota Wesleyan University will be available to sign up as a walker or to sponsor a walker.

The route will be around DWU, a distance of one to five miles. Walkers obtain pledge sheets and have donors sign on.

Money raised will go to support the ministry of Church World Service with 25 percent of the funds staying to support the Mitchell Area Food Pantry.
