Mitchell’s Berkley Rietveld finishes fifth at triangular

Berkley Rietveld finished fifth for the Mitchell High School girls’ cross country team at a triangular in Watertown. Madison was also a part of the triangular.

Rietveld finished in a time of 9 minutes, 38 seconds as Mitchell finished in third place.

Kerri Young finished in 15th with an 11:04.00, Courtney Moore was 16th (11:15.00), Julie Knight finished 17th (11:22.00) and Shelby Gunsch came in 18th (11:38.00).

For the boys, Gray Determan finished in seventh place in a time of 12:55.00.

Mitchell’s next meet is Friday, Sept. 9, in Aberdeen for the Aberdeen Central Invitational.
