Landfill to accept tires for free during September

The Mitchell Regional Landfill will accept tires from residents within the landfill service area free of charge, for disposal during September.

The Mitchell Regional Landfill will accept tires from residents within the landfill service area free of charge, for disposal during September.

No tires larger than tractor tires will be accepted and no tires will be accepted from tire retailers.

The landfill is located at 411176 257th St., Mitchell, and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays; and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
