BRANDON (AP) — Four workers were evacuated from a manufacturing business in the southeast South Dakota city of Brandon overnight when a fire broke out in the building.
According to media reports, firefighters were called to Pace Manufacturing just before midnight Tuesday. Fire Chief Robert Dykstra says the fire might have started when a fan on an air handling unit shorted out.
Dykstra says there was a lot of smoke but few flames, and they were quickly put out. The fire was confined to the air handling unit. No one was hurt.
