Diabetes Support Group to gather

Diabetes Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, in Conference Room 1, Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, Mitchell.

Megan Vilhauer, registered dietitian at Avera Queen of Peace, will present “Diabetic Diet: Beyond Carbohydrate Counting.”

The program will include information on better carbohydrate foods to choose, healthy fats and oils and other ways to have a healthy diet.
