The superintendent of the Wessington Springs School District was allegedly arrested for driving under the influence in Hanson County less than a year after a previous DUI arrest.
KELO-TV reported Tuesday that Lance Witte, 42, was arrested in Hanson County late Friday night by a South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper.
His blood alcohol level was allegedly 0.157. The legal driving limit in South Dakota is 0.08.
He is reportedly scheduled for court later this month.
Witte pleaded guilty to DUI in December 2010 and to driving with a revoked license last week. KELO reports this arrest is Witte's fifth DUI arrest since 1990.
