Noem touts bipartisan Missouri River working group

U.S. Rep. Kristi Noem, R-S.D., said Thursday that she has two goals for a newly formed bipartisan working group set up to address flooding issues along the Missouri River.
First, she wants to get all U.S. House members from Missouri River states to coordinate their efforts on the flooding issue.
Second, she wants the group to “push to get straight answers” from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
“We want to know, could there have been more done to prevent this? Also, what changes need to be made so it never happens again?” Noem said.
