DAKOTA DUNES – The scheduled resumption of residential traffic into Dakota Dunes today is being delayed due to repair work on a section of the southern levee.

Exit 1 on Interstate 29 into Dakota Dunes is closed to all residential and other traffic, except trucks, to allow for the necessary repair work to be completed at the levee.

There is no definitive timeline for the resumption of normal traffic, but officials are hopeful re-entry for citizens into the area can still occur later today or Friday.

Officials at Dakota Dunes will provide updated information as the day progresses.
