Road closes after box culvert fails
The Davison County Highway Department reported that a box culvert is out on 250th Street between 394th Avenue and 395th Avenue. As a result, the street is closed until further notice.By: Staff reports, The Daily Republic

This bridge, along 250th Street between 394th and 395th avenues northwest of Mount Vernon, was washed out due to flash flooding Monday afternoon. Rusty Weinberg, Davison County highway superintendent, said the bridge will cost between $25,000 and $30,000 to fix and repairs will be completed in about a week or two. (Chris Huber/Republic)
The Davison County Highway Department reported that a box culvert is out on 250th Street between 394th Avenue and 395th Avenue. As a result, the street is closed until further notice.
Other roads closed because of flooding are:
• 245th Street between 410th Avenue and 411th Avenue.
• 267th Street between Highway 37 and 411th Avenue.
• 256th Street between 402nd Avenue and 403rd Avenue.
• 252nd Street between 394th Avenue and 394th 1/4 Avenue (1/4 mile east of 394th Avenue).
