Gardening help available from ROCS

The garden project sponsored by the Rural Office of Community Services will be open again this summer to low-income families, individuals and community gardens in 20 counties.

The garden project sponsored by the Rural Office of Community Services will be open again this summer to low-income families, individuals and community gardens in 20 counties.

The project will provide qualifying families, individuals and community gardens with seeds and vouchers for plants, equipment and tilling.

Counties included in this project are Brule, Buffalo, Aurora, Jerauld, Todd, Mellette, Tripp, Lyman, Jones, Hutchinson, Douglas, Clay, Yankton, Bon Homme, Union, Davison, Hanson, Charles Mix, Gregory and Sanborn.
