DWU choir to begin spring tour Feb. 24

The Dakota Wesleyan University choir and the Highlanders will begin their spring tour Feb. 24.

They will perform at Mitchell Christian, Hanson County; Ethan; and the First United Methodist Church of Sioux Falls Feb. 24. On Feb. 25, the group will travel to Bridgewater, Emery, Plankinton, Kimball and First United Methodist Church, Huron. The group plays at First United Methodist Church, Mitchell on March 3. Concerts held at churches will be at 7 p.m.

Chrystal Melmer, Jenna Callies, both of Mitchell, and Alex Smith, Kuna, Idaho, will perform solos.

Highlanders include: Ryan Antaya, Letcher; Foster Bartholow, Rapid City; Jenna Callies, Mitchell; Marty Haehn, Sterling, Colo.; Reuben Isaac, Mitchell; Seth LaBounty, Mitchell, Neb.; Katie Larson, Pierre; Chrystal Melmer, Mitchell; Emily Nicolaisen, Mitchell; Alex Smith, Kuna, Idaho; Jenna Vanderheiden, Platte; Brooke Warne, Rapid City; Caroline Weiser, Suamico, Wisc.

The choir includes: Callies; Allison Clarke, Howard; Catherine Hayen, Hill City; Raeanne Klein, Gregory; Kayla Leininger, Watertown; Nicolaisen; Cortney Redenius, Humboldt; Vicky Schaefer, Mitchell; Tiffany Sharp, Brighton, Colo.; Stephanie Teel, Stickney; Warne; Pamela Getman, Hill City; Larson; Amanda Long, Mitchell; Melmer; Sarah Owens, Omaha, Neb.; Jess Phillips, Mitchell; Lacey Reimnitz, Armour; Jessica Salmonson, Mitchell; Molly Webster, Rapid City; Mary Winter, Madison; Bartholow; Smith; LaBounty; Michael Lynch, Omaha, Neb.; Antaya; Haehn; and Tanner LaValliere, Sioux Falls.
