Dakota Wesleyan University’s James Hansen earns All-America honor from NAIA

Dakota Wesleyan University’s James Hansen, a senior offensive lineman on the Tigers’ football team, has been named to the 2010 Victory Sports Network NAIA Football All-America team, it was announced Friday.
The team, which began in 2002, is chosen by the NAIA football coaches and the VSN broadcast team.
Hansen is one of five offensive lineman named to the All-America team and the only one from the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
Hansen is one of five players from the GPAC to earn the honor. University of Sioux Falls wide receiver Jon Ryan, Northwestern College running back Taylor Malm, Morningside College linebacker Marshal Tuttle and Nebraska Wesleyan punter Ethan Hunke also were named All-Americans.
This is the second All-America honor for Hansen, a Rapid City native. He was also named to the 2010 AFCA NAIA Coaches’ All-America First Team.
